Please read through them carefully before placing your order.

By using our website, placing an order you confirm your agreement to our terms and conditions set out below.

We may change these terms from time to time without notifying you. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received. Of course, if an order has already been confirmed we will be bound by the terms and conditions that were then present.

 

 1.      ORDER PROCESS

All orders for products shall be deemed to be an offer by you to purchase the products in agreement to these terms and conditions.

You, the buyer are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the details provided at the checkout. 

Once you have placed your order, you will receive an email confirmation of your order that we have received the order.

When we have checked whether we are able to meet your order, we will dispatch it within 48 hours. Where we unable to meet your order we will notify you of this.     

When your order has been dispatched, you will receive another email confirming the dispatch. Please make sure that the email address you provide is correct and the mail account provided by you is working properly.

Unless you cancel your order, completion of the contract will be finished when we send the dispatch confirmation email.

We are entitled to refuse any order placed by you and will not be required to provide an explanation. Non-acceptance could result from one the product ordered is out of stock, your payment is not authorised or there is an error within the product information, including price or promotion.

If for some reason we are unable to ship your goods, the value of the items that are not dispatched will be refunded via the original method of payment.

Transactions are charged at the time the goods are ordered, when you click on the ‘CONFIRM AND PAY’ button.

Once you have checked out and your order has been confirmed you will not be able to make any changes to your order so please make sure that everything is correct before clicking the confirm button.

Any discounts triggered by the entry of a promotional code will only applied at checkout.

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is within our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our website.

Under the distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of the goods. Please see our returns policy in section 5 below for further details.

 

 2.      PRODUCT INFORMATION

The products may differ slightly form the images shown on the website. By placing an order you accept that the colour tone, fabrication and visual aspects of the products including beads and crystal components used in the product may differ from the images displayed on the website.

All our products are designed to be worn with care and may fail if placed under undue stress. As is the nature of jewellery, stones may fracture if dropped and metals may tarnish if not looked after. We advise you to treat your jewellery with the care and attention it deserves.

We reserve the right to restrict multiple quantities of an item being shipped to any one customer or postal address.

 

  1. 3.      PRICES & PAYMENT METHODS

All of our prices are in GBP and include VAT. Delivery charges are not included and they vary.  Any other currency displayed on the site is for comparison only. You will be charged in GBP and if you are buying from outside the UK or with a foreign card, then currency fluctuations and credit card charges may make a difference to the amount charged to you or displayed on our currency converter.

Customers outside of the UK should also note that they are responsible for all local taxes; customs charges and import duties on their order and that these are not included in the purchase price. We cannot cover these extra duties for you.

BEAUTIFUL AFFORDABLE JEWELLERY LTD currently only accepts payments by credit/debit card or PayPal. 

When your order has been dispatched and transaction completed, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email that includes an electronic receipt and a dispatch notice with a tracking number.

We reserve the right, with giving notice to you, at any time before delivery to increase the price of the products to reflect any increase in costs to us, which is due to factors beyond our control (such as significant increase in the cost of labour, materials, costs of obtaining customs clearance or other certifications or other costs of manufacture). In the unlikely event of such increase in price, you will be notified and will be entitled to cancel your order before delivery.

 

4.      DELIVERY & POSTAGE

When you place an order, you will be sent an order confirmation email.

If any items are out of stock we will inform you via email as soon as possible and will keep you informed about your order’s progress.

Once your order is dispatched we will send you a dispatch confirmation email. We try to ensure that all orders are dispatched within 2 working days of receiving your order.

If your package doesn’t arrive within the expected delivery period please contact us and we will help in tracking your delivery.

We reserve the right to dispatch your order in separate packages (to offer a faster service) if an out of stock will be available in a few days.

All items will be shipped to the specified address at checkout; this address will be on your confirmation email. Unfortunately we are unable to alter this delivery address once the order has been placed. A signature is required at delivery.

All orders are dispatched via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery.

  • Standard UK delivery is usually within 2-5 working days from receiving your dispatch confirmation email and costs £3.50 for orders below £50.
  • Special Next Day UK delivery is guaranteed next working day from receiving your dispatch confirmation email and costs £7.95.
  • International EU Countries: Delivery is usually within 5-10 working days from receiving your dispatch confirmation email and costs £10.
  • International Non-EU Countries: Delivery is usually within 7-10 working days from receiving your dispatch confirmation email and costs £15.

With the exception of Special Delivery items, we cannot refund or replace lost items until 15 working days has elapsed since the date of dispatch. It is not until then that the Royal Mail recognises that the parcel has been lost.

Prior to placing urgent orders (i.e. for a birthday present or for an occasion etc.), please contact us before placing your order and we will do our best to meet your demands or, at the very least, we will let you know whether or not we can.

We are not liable for delays or non-delivery caused by failure to gain access to the delivery address on the agreed delivery date or failure to obtain a signature or because of other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In the cases of items returned to us due to failed delivery it will be the customer’s responsibility to arrange and pay for redelivery. 

 

5.      RETURNS

At Beautiful and Affordable (B &A) Jewellery, we understand that a product is not quite right and you may wish to return or exchange it.

All items must be returned undamaged, unused and the original packaging, including tags, bags and boxes. All tags must remain attached or we will not be able authorise a refund. It is at our sole discretion whether the merchandise has been used or if items are still in a saleable condition.  Items that are returned in non-saleable condition will be sent back to the customer at the expense of the customer.

You have 14 days to return an item from the day you received it. Sale items must be returned within 7 days of receiving it. Sale items with 50% off or more cannot be returned nor exchanged.

Due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to process any returns/refunds/exchanges of earrings unless the goods are faulty. 

5.1       HOW TO RETURN PROCEDURE

Return items below £50 to by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and all items above £50 by Royal Mail Special Delivery to ensure they are properly insured.
We are not liable for returned items that are not received. You would need to contact Royal Mail directly. You will be responsible for paying postage costs associated with the returns.

Should you receive a faulty item please email us stating the order number and fault and we’ll let you know you can deliver to us for free.

Your item(s) must be unused/unworn and any security tags must be in place, please return the items in the original packaging. Any items damaged in transit back to us as a result of not being sent back in the original packaging, will be sent directly back to you and will be ineligible for a refund.

 

To return items by post, please follow the instructions below:

1.  Email us for the Returns Form.

2. Complete the Returns Form, detach part 1 and enclose inside your parcel.
Please note – you should ensure that items are adequately wrapped to prevent damage in transit. You should also retain your original dispatch note received with your goods until the refund is processed. We may require the dispatch note as proof of purchase if needed.

3. Affix returns label in Part 2 to the outside of your parcel.

5.2       INTERNATIONAL RETURNS PROCEDURE

If you are an international customer, you have 21 days from the date you received your order. Sale items must be returned within 14 days of receiving it. Sale items with 50% off or more cannot be returned nor exchanged.

To return items by post, please follow the instructions below:

1.  Email us for the Returns Form.

2. Complete the Returns Form, detach part 1 and enclose inside your parcel.
Please note – you should ensure that items are adequately wrapped to prevent damage in transit. You should also retain your original dispatch note received with your goods until the refund is processed. We may require the dispatch note as proof of purchase if needed.

3. Affix returns label in Part 2 to the outside of your parcel.

Returns must be sent through a track-able delivery service and ensure it is appropriately insured.

Clearly write at the front of the package ‘RETURNED GOODS’ in large, visible capital letters. 

A customs declaration (CN22 or CN23) must be attached to the package. The declaration must include a complete and accurate description of the goods, their quantity and value. Our VAT number is 188 0144 03 must also be included on the CN22/CN23. You can get CN22/CN23 forms from http://www.royalmail.com/personal/help-and-support/I-need-advice-about-customs-requirements

We are not liable for returned items that are not received. You would need to contact your delivery service provider directly. You will be responsible for paying postage costs associated with the returns.

Should you receive a faulty item please email us stating the order number and fault and we’ll let you know you can deliver to us for free. 

5.3       RECEIVING A REFUND

You will be refunded the price you paid excluding shipping costs (with the exception of faulty items).

You will receive an email confirming that we have received your returned item(s) and your account has been credited. Please allow up to 14 working days from the day you return the products to receive the email and a further 3-10 working days for your bank to credit your account.

You will be credited through the original method of payment. 

5.4       EXCHANGES

Unfortunately we cannot offer exchanges. If you would like to buy another product, we can process a refund for your original item and you can place a new order. 

5.5       DAMAGED OR FAULTY GOODS

Our products are quality checked and carefully packaged so we hope they reach you in perfect condition. However if they arrive damaged, we apologise and ask you follow the above ‘HOW TO RETURN PROCEDURE’, noting in the Returns Form, whether you require a refund or a replacement for your damaged item/s. 

Return the item/s in the original packaging, we understand that the item/s will arrive back damaged as described.

5.6       IMPROPER RETURNS

Where you return a product that does not comply with this policy, we will not refund the product. We may retain the returned product until you pay for redelivery of the returned product. If we do not receive payment of the redelivery within 14 days of issuing a request for payment, we may destroy or otherwise dispose of the returned product in our sole discretion without any liability to us.

6.      CANCELLATIONS

Should you wish to cancel your order, you can notify us by email. Please include in your email the order number from the order confirmation email sent to you.

If your order has been dispatched before cancelling it, then you should not unpack the goods when they are received by you. You must return (Use our ‘HOW TO RETURN PROCEDURE’) the order to us at your cost and risk. Due to hygienic reasons, earrings that have been dispatched before cancellation cannot be returned.

We reserve the right to reject any cancellation after dispatch if the returned item contravenes our returns policy in section 5. For information, read section 5 above.

 

7.      YOUR WARRANTY

You warrant that all details provided in your order is accurate and complete, that you are authorised to use the payment method you are using and that there is sufficient funds and/or sufficient limit available to cover the cost of your order. Also that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts, and you have full authority and capacity to agree to these terms and conditions and you will be able to accept the delivery of the products.

 

8.      LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

We will endeavour to carry out our obligations within a reasonable period of time but will not be liable to you for any loss, costs or expenses arising directly or indirectly from any delays in doing so. We will not be deemed to be in breach of this agreement by reason of any event or series of events beyond our reasonable control. If we are prevented from carrying out our obligations, we will notify by email. If we are still prevented from carrying out our obligations 3 weeks from the date a notice was sent, then either party may give written notice by email to other to cancel the agreement. If the agreement is cancelled this way, we will accept no liability to compensate you for any loss or damage caused by failure to perform.

 

9.      WEBSITE

We will endeavour to ensure that the information available on this website is accurate at any time. However, we will not be held liable for any errors or omissions. We will use all reasonable endeavour to correct errors and omission as quickly as possible after becoming aware or being notified of these.

All the drawings, photographs, colours, components, description and specifications of products on this website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the products.

We may change any aspect of this website, including the availability of any feature, information, database or content, or restrict access to parts or all the website without notice or liability.

These exclusions of liability shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

 

10.     GENERAL

We will treat the personal information that you provide in connection with you order in accordance with our PRIVACY POLICY. For further details regarding the use of data supplied by you, please see PRIVACY POLICY.

We may from time to time amend portions of these terms and conditions but if we will update any changes in this website.

You may not assign, charge, sub-contract or otherwise transfer any of your rights or obligations arising under these terms and conditions. Any attempt by you to do so will be null and void. We may assign, charge, sub-contract or otherwise transfer any of our rights or obligations arising under these terms of sale, at any time, provided that such action does not serve to reduce the guarantees benefiting you under these terms and conditions. 

All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to BEATUIFUL AFFORDBALE JEWELLERY LIMITED. Any use of the site or its contents, including copying it in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited.

We have taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website.

10.1     QUERIES AND COMPLAINTS

We aim to respond to your email queries within 48 hours. Our customer services can answer your queries Monday to Friday between 9am and 2pm.

With regards to complaints, we will consider them and contact you within 14 days of the complaint giving you the result and what we propose should be done.

10.2     THIRD PARTY

Certain links in this site will lead to websites that are hosted by other parties. When you click any of these links you will leave this website. You should note that we have no control over, and will accept no responsibility or liability in respect of, the material on any of these websites.

10.3     JURISDICTION

These terms and conditions will be governed by English Law and it is agreed that the English courts shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction in the event of a dispute arising to under or in relation to these terms and conditions.

If any terms are deemed unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severed and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
